Celebrity Chef Mattocks has been inspired by his uncle, the late Bob Marley. Inspired by his own diabetes diagnosis, he’s been educating America on how to eat healthier and take care of themselves for years.
He’s been seen on The Today Show, Good Morning America, Martha Stewart, CNN and Dr. Oz to name a few.
Living with type 2 diabetes, Charles has committed to bringing healthy eating to the masses. He also produced “The Diabetic You” a insightful documentary along with an interactive website to focus on the major health crisis among African Americans and Americans in general, diabetes. When he’s focused on a goal, Charles is totally committed. He developed a diabetic-friendly, gluten free treat called the “Charles Bar” that is in national distribution. Plus, he’s teamed up with Shire and is on a national RV testing tour he created that is going across the country to educate people about diabetes foot complications.
