Dr. Salone @ Healthy Black Men
All of us at Healthyblackmen.org are excited about the new year! In addition to new features, more interviews, we are expanding our team of talented subject-matter experts.
We can now announce the addition of Dr. Cedric L. Salone, who brings a great deal of professional pharmacy practice experience, including drug utilization review, medication therapy management, and facilitating medication dispensing procedures.
Dr. Salone is a residency trained pharmacist and currently holds the position of Clinical Pharmacist Program Specialist at the Edward J. Hines VA Hospital in the Chicago Metro Area. He will be sharing his expertise in all areas of pharmaceutical use right here for black men.

Dr. Salone earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Xavier University of Louisiana. And cut his professional teeth at national retailer and pharmacy chain, Walgreens.
Dr. Salone also completed a First Year Postgraduate Residency(PGY-1) in Community Pharmacy with a Focus in specialty medications and a Second Year Postgraduate Residency (PGY-2) in Pharmacovigilance, Medication Safety, and Outcomes Assessment.
