The Doctor Is In.
Dr. Clarence M. Lee Jr. is an author, speaker, physician, and ambitious entrepreneur. We are also proud to announce he’s our newest contributor to Healthyblackmen.org. Dr. Lee will share his insight and expertise on health, medical issues but also his philosophy to achieveing life goals and dreams.
One to serve his country, Dr. Lee serves as an active duty Air Force Officer at Beale AFB in the 9th Aerospace Medicine Squadron where he holds the rank of Captain and the position of Flight Surgeon. Dr. Lee supports several airframes including the U-2, MC-12, RQ-4, and T-38. He has deployed 3 times and has over 100 flying hours, 10 of which in combat.
Originally from Kansas City, MO, Dr. Lee earned his B.S. in Biology from The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio where he also played basketball.
After undergrad studies he completed is medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia and later completed his internship in General Surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center. His interest in business recently lead him to complete his M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship and Innovative Management at Drexel University Lebow College of Business in Sacramento. Dr. Lee is no stranger to achievement and hard work.
As an intern Dr. Lee founded CMLEEJR Co. a personal empowerment company focused on helping others overcome barriers through professional speaking services, mentoring and workshops. Dr. Lee published his first book, a Christian inspirational, titled, “Well, My Mom Says…” in May 2014. His work has been featured in the Sacramento Business Journal, The Word Alumni Magazine and others. Dr. Lee was recently awarded top 40 under 40 2014 by the Sacramento Business Journal.
Dr. Lee is dedicated to using his time to making the people around him better. As a Christian he believes we all have God-given talents and purpose. Bridging these with reality is Dr. Lee’s goal for all. He lives in California and when not seeing patients or speaking loves spending time with his wife and two children.
