Eating Well With Sean Peters
Sean Peters is a home cook, fitness advocate and the founder of My Body, My Kitchen (MBMK). And we at Healthy Black Men are happy to announce Mr. Peters will be joining our team of Contributors.
MBMK is a platform that empowers its readers to live a healthy lifestyle and provides tasty and innovative ways to prepare everyday foods.
In January 2015, after an overwhelming demand for his mouth watering recipes from his personal Instagram account, Sean launched mybodymykitchen.com. Sean believes that food plays an invaluable role one’s overall health. It is his dream that My Body, My Kitchen will become an online resource where readers can find information to help with the development of their physical and mental health.
But Mr. Peters has a keen analytical brain and is currently an Electrical Engineering PhD candidate at Columbia University in the City of New York.
In addition to fitness and engineering, Sean is also passionate about entrepreneurship and education. And although My Body, My Kitchen is his first independent venture, he has experience teaching entrepreneurship at the graduate and high-school level. Sean has combined these four passions–engineering, education, entrepreneurship and fitness–to bring My Body, My Kitchen to you!
In his spare time he enjoys running the streets of New York City with the Harlem Run Crew.
All of us at Healthyblackmen.org are excited to welcome Sean to the team of Contributors. Look for his recipes, health tips, and more starting in February.
